Dormitory Guidelines
Prohibitions and practices
1. Tenants are strictly prohibited from bringing or allowing outsiders to stay overnight in the room. **Please inform the staff or use the area provided by the institute only**
2. Do not give your key card or room key to others.
3. It is strictly prohibited to transfer rights, sub-lease, split rent, or allow persons who are not tenants to stay.
4. Do not change, add, decorate, or move any items in the room after the contract ends. The tenant must return the room in its original condition.
5. Do not cook food, including the use of all types of electrical appliances such as microwaves, electric pans, rice cookers, or others in the room. **If there is a fire and it is found that it is the room of any tenant, the tenant will be responsible for any damages that occur**
6. Do not hang clothes to dry or place drying racks or various materials and equipment on the balcony of the building or outside the room.
7. Do not drink alcohol, hold parties, gamble, or do anything that is against the law or good morals.
8. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the room area.
9. Do not leave trash or sweep up trash or place various items out in the common- area walkway. **When disposing of trash, put trash in a bag, close the bag properly, and put the bag in the trash can provided**
10 Do not throw food scraps and garbage into the sink or bathtub, including throwing sanitary napkins into the toilet bowl.
11 It is strictly forbidden to bring pets into the room area.
12 Do not make loud noises, such as turning on the television or radio at high volume. This includes talking loudly or do anything that disturbs other tenants.
13 Do not cover doorknobs in guest rooms.
14 Do not drill into walls or doors or attach anything that might cause the paint to peel off. The institute reserves the right to remove them without prior notice. In addition, the tenant is responsible for the cost of repairing scratches.
15 Do not move property belonging to the institution outside the room unless when permission is granted.
16 To conserve the energy, please turn off the water and electricity when not in use or before leaving the room every time.
17 The Institute or representatives reserve the right to inspect or repair and maintain equipment in the room as appropriate or by prior appointment. In case of emergency, the institute or representatives reserve the right to inspect and repair equipment in the room without notifying the tenant in advance.
If the tenant does not comply with any of the above, the tenant agrees to have the contract terminated immediately. The institute will use the following guidelines:
***If it is found and proven that any tenant violates and does not comply with the prohibitions and practices*** the institute will issue a written warning first. The second offense, the institute reserves the right to cancel the contract.
